Camera for inflight photos and video

I have a gopro 360 I mount under my wing and love it but it is limited. Im looking for a camera smaller than my Canon SLR that will take video and photos - with a good zoom. I dont want to break the bank but want a good camera. Any suggestions?

Have you considered that maybe it's the photographer that's incredible rather than the camera?
