From a witness: “No ratio calls with an Opposite direction landing long and hot. The tires were smoking from a skid and he powered up to try to go around. It came off the runway and dipped the right wing into the top of the power line, not sure if it was a stall or not by the way it hit but seemed like it was. The end of the wing was taken off and is under the power lines still, The aircraft tumbled into the field below. Unbelievable chain of events. Prayers for the families of both of the men in the aircraft. Very sad...”
