I agree with George that it is nice to have the a plane which can handle your mission but also can handle an extra person or weight when needed. Buying and selling is always expensive and I believe you should buy the most airplane you can afford to satisfy your mission and future missions. Exception of course is getting more airplane than you can handle which is a whole different conversation. I suspect my mission will change as I get further along in obtaining ratings and the more I fly which is the whole point of buying.
