My wife and I have matching Schwinn bicycles that date back to the Clinton administration.
We're in a better position to use them now with where we live in Goodyear, but she’s never been 100% pleased with the seating position on hers.
My parents were “Raleigh snobs”, but that company is not what it was.
We have been watching lots of “Father Brown” lately on PBS and a little searching found he rides a Pashley Roadster which looks like a vintage Raleigh in many ways. Pashley is seemingly the benefactor of much of the Raleigh staff and tooling before the company sent frame manufacturing to China. I got her to ride one and she loved it!
This coming week Santa will be delivering her a Pashley Princess Sovereign.
