Pre-takeoff checklist
I am flying to Boston for 1-2 nights and then up to Augusta. Any airport recommendations? Looking at BED or BVY. Any better choices? I'll be staying downtown.

Depends on what you are flying. I don't think KBED is as friendly to small piston as OWD. And KBED would be more, ahem, expensive.
Coming from the west or southwest, OWD would be an obvious choice. From the northeast, try BVY or LWM.

Check out 1B9 Mansfield. A good alternative to KOWD. They have rail service heading into Boston, inexpensive transient parking, etc.
