About what does it cost to rent a Bo A36 in your neighborhood?

I'd be surprised if you find one, I'd be further surprised if you find one for less than $125 or so DRY.

Have not heard nor seen one for rent in the DFW area.

But I'll say that after getting some rides in a buddies 1968 A36, I REALLY like that model of Bonanza.

None that I know of in my area in the northeast.

That would be cheap. I'd expect closer to $200 (or just over) for an A36.

Thats about what a 172 goes for around here. 135/wet. I'm betting a lot more for a bonanza and then the insurance company is going to want several hundred hours, an instrument rating, recurrent training and time in type.

Maybe a flying club would be the best bet for something like that.

A C-182 here is $220/hr wet. No A36's available for rent as far as I know.

I think our recently added Cherokee Six is around $180 dry, and that's fixed gear. Six seats get the insurance company's attention.

Never seen one for rent....but I would be curious if others have. We did have debonair at my primary school for commercial stuff. Close, but not an A36

IIRC Hummingbird and/or their predecessor used to rent 36LP for something like $180/hr wet but fuel was cheaper then. $200 sounds about right today.

Yes, they did til Gary sold it. I think the Cirrus was $225/hr. til it was run through the fence.

I rent a Debonair out of LNK for $125 dry.

I used to rent a A36TN with TKS out for $325 wet $250 dry

There's a club in palo alto that lists 240.00 for a V tail.

Current rate for the F33As at RFC is $176 to $187, wet. When the club still had the A36, it was, maybe, 10% more, if that much.

Below is the results of a search on Archer Bravo for Bo's. Don't know what models. Also Archer Bravo is not frequently updated but it can at least serve as a start.

Independence Aviation @ KAPA:

’91 Bonanza A36 8160J $250/hr wet or $180/hr dry

There was on at Moorabin in Australia that was AU$225 hr dry, haven't seen one in the US for rent in a long time.

The des moines flying club lists one on their site for 165/dry. No idea if that is current. In addition to hourly costs, the club has a buy in and monthly dues as well.

plane description lists:
New Paint and a New Interior
A Garmin 750 and a 430
Full Auto pilot
TKC deicing system

I was paying $190/hr wet for an A36, but that was a while ago. Debs are currently renting for about $220 from the same outfit.

$88/hr dry in my club ... But it's not a rental. We're an ownership club.

$200/hr dry for an A36 seems damn high. But I'm cheap :)

I was just in Georgetown taking Rosy the decathlon to Glenn the photographer. Are you based there? Is that Beth's A36?

At my club I think the member rate is $243/hr wet. We rent to non members for somewhat higher than that. We're up in Cleveland, OH.
