Anyone learn the details from this Saturdays TFR violation that drove Biden to the fire station?

I guess it wasn't much because I can find next to nothing written about it other than it happened.

Hello Grandpa, my old friend.
Your busy day is at an end.
Your exploits have been sad and boring.
They tell a tale, that's worth ignoring.
When you're alone, the words of your story will echo down the rest home hall.
Cuz no one at all
Can stand the sound of grandpa.

(with apologies to Simon & Garfunkel)

I listened to most of the "tear down that wall" speech. Come to think of it, I've listened to the "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech. So mostly I don't. I haven't found that they have much of value to say.

That’s why out-of-context sound bites are so important…they eliminate most of the things that make them not worth listening to.

I agree, and it's a funny post, too. But Kennedy's Berlin speech was really good, and I'm not really a big Kennedy fan. And no joking or disrespect intended, he should have been in a closed top car. He didn't deserve that, and the world would have been in better shape with him in it longer. Bringing it back to the TFR thread, closed top car would have been a good security improvement. TFR's are just over the top silliness.

I wasn't a big Jack Kennedy fan until I saw what came after.

Yeah, I'm too young to have gone through it, but it's hard to argue that his VP was way worse. But I can't fault him too much for that, Eisenhower didn't pick a winner, either.

Seems to me that that is the rule rather than the exception ...

And I look back at those as the Good Old Days...

Don’t worry. It won’t be too long before a journalist uncovers he “did not file a flight plan.”
In most cases I would agree. This one may have a bit of factual truth if that is the case.
