Like the title says...what is the best passenger headset for the money? I have a pair of Bose A20s, but I'm not going to spend that kind of money for the once in awhile passenger. Thanks for the help!

eBay is your friend. I bought a pair of AvCom AC-200 for $60. They might as well have been new. I also bought 2 pairs of Telex ANR (1st generation) for $60.

All eBay.

You might try a pair of Clarity Aloft for yourself, and you may relegate the Bose to your passenger set. Same price as a good passenger set.

I use a set of FlightCom Denali ANRs for myself and found them really comfy and lightweight, and for the price you cant beat them for an ANR headset. I think I paid around $350 for mine. I picked up a non-ANR version for the passenger seat for like $40 on ebay. So far everyone seems to like them.

Depends on the passenger. If it's someone with knobology skills you don't trust, you'll want a DC-13.4 type where they can't muck things up. On the other hand, if it's someone who falls asleep on climb-out and doesn't wake up until the flare then you'll want something with a control wand so they can easily turn down/up the volume.

I have a two place with duel Bose ,headsets, nothing but the best for my guests.

LightSPEED Sierra's are perfectly fine.

If you have any old decrepit ANR headsets around, they may still offer $250 for them.

That's what I have for a passenger set as well, and have used it myself, it's a good headset.

I have a cheap ASA set for some pax, and the ones I like better get the DCs.

I would say it depends on the PAX. I used to have the Lightspeed XLs for that, but they clamped too hard for my GF and since I want her to fly with me regularly, I now own two pairs of Zulus.

If you think about buying Bose for your passengers you also have a spare set of your set has a problem. There is also the deal going on that the more pairs you buy the more free stuff from them you get.
