Bedding in brake pads - process?

Hi ya'll, what’s the recommended procedure for bedding in brakes on a piston single Cessna? Is it something like taxi at 20 knots and then hard brake down to 5 knots, quickly accelerate back up to 20 knots and repeat 6-8 times, then cool down taxi around for a couple minutes without using the brakes?

what’s the recommended procedure

FYI: it's usually called conditioning procedures and the specific process is dependent on type of linings installed. You can usually find it in the appropriate component brake manual or ask you mechanic to point you in the right direction.

The OP's method of hard braking 6 or 8 times would surely overheat something.
