Toby, those are NOT mountains. Those are small HILLS. :D
Come out to Cashmere, WA and we'll take you around some real mountains. On downwind at 8S2, you are below the hilltops. I'll have to post a couple of pics of our airport, you'd like it

Hills are just mountains that are older and more treacherous!

Your west coast mountains are nothing but young punks compared to our east coast mountains! :rofl:

A good read about the ADK is, "In suspect terraine", by a woman geologist whose name I forget.
