Do they have beef ribs? Every time I go to Texas and ask for ribs, they offer pork ribs. When I ask for beef ribs, they just shake their heads. I like BEEF ribs. The only place I find consistently good beef ribs is a small place along side the Intracoastal waterway in Ormond Beach, FL. But I'm not giving you my address.
One of my perennial complaints: these days, few places serve-up beef ribs, and more's the pity, because a good beef rib is a simple hunk of heaven.
There are some that can be found around here, but even the places that serve them do so sporadically, and some seem to think that beef ribs should be like the bronto-bone Fred Flintstone got - the one that tumped over his car.
Pecan Lodge, in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas, has good beef ribs (good 'Q all around, actually); I just don't care for places where I have to wait in a long line to eat, and that usually applies at Pecan Lodge. http://pecanlodge.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/pecan-lodge-menu-dec-2018.pdf
Unconventional, in that it is located in an industrial/warehouse area, is Cattleack BBQ (get it?); https://www.cattleackbbq.com/menu/ - they're only open two days a week, and one Saturday a month, but their craft is genuine, proven by their endurance in the marketplace. They also have beef ribs.
