Pilot Barrington Irving Returns From “Inspiration”-al Education Tour
November 18, 2014 6:25 PM

 Love the winged-school bus.

"MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Record-setting pilot Barrington Irving had a triumphant homecoming in Opa-locka as students chanted, “I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky. I think about it every day.”
The students smiled, all eyes focused on the skies, as the pioneering pilot came into range and landed in famous “flying classroom.”
Irving returned Tuesday from an around the world odyssey that stretched across North America, Asia and the South Pacific. Thousands of students joined in on his experiments, including CBS4′s Super Kid Michael Williams."

Barrington is a great kid (young man now I suppose), I sponsored his 'Round the World Flight back in the day through a company I owned at the time (we were a very small sponsor, but it was fun anyway).

His focus on kids is fantastic and he is a solid 'lead by example' kind of guy.

Thanks for the link!

Absolutely! He sounds like a very humble guy and I'm sure your sponsorship is appreciated just as much as those of the large corporations.

I love seeing the youth excited about science and aviation, as I was all throughout my childhood (still am).

A pilot friend of mine, based at Opa-Locka, met Barrington after he landed the other day. He posted some pictures on his Facebook page of them shaking hands.

Thanks
