Back from Austria! TFR's in Europe!

Hi everyone!

I just got back from my hiking trip in Austria -- pictures will follow in a couple of days.

I bought the September issue of Flieger (Flyer) magazine in the Munich airport. Lo and behold, on page 32, it seems that while we don't seem to be able to export too many things to Europe, we have apparently exported TFR's...

The attached scan describes a TFR over Cologne last August 18-21 because of the Pope's visit. VFR flight prohibited in the 10 nm circle.

where did you go? would love to see the pics - were you in the Alps at all?

I have friends in Munich - beautiful area. did you get to spend a few days there at all?
