Golf, that is. Played in a scramble tournament on Monday. Great weather, had a great time. Maybe I'll pick that silly game back up!

You'll love it. The combination of new hi-tech equipment and super-long balls will allow you to hit it farther than when you quit.

Dont forget to pickup your copy of the $500 Round of Golf.

What kind of watch do you have to have to be a golfer?

The Garmin S3 is the current favorite. Provides GPS distances to front, middle and back of green as well as dog-legs and other required carry shots.

So it can go even FARTHER out of bounds?

I told my wife it would cost about $105,000 if I took it back up. Something about the clubs not fitting in the trunk of the Boxster, so I will have to trade for a Carrera. Don't think she buys it, though.

With the new hi-tech equipment, I just end up farther in the woods!:mad2:

And here I was trying to be a smart ass. That watch is pretty cool! I may have to take up golf. Does it require updates every 28 days? Do I have to get separate updates for the Robert Trent Jones courses?

No she doesn't. You buy it and enjoy it! :) I like the Carrera wish I had one.

:D Dunno, but the insurance and maintenance cost for the equipment is much cheaper.

That's why fishing is a better sport. You don't have to post a score and all you have to say when you get home is "they weren't biting."

Work it, Ken, work it! :D

The bag won't fit in my 911 either, unless I fold the pax seat forward with the bottom of the bag in the rear seat.

They wouldn't fit in my old 911 either, so my line has to be that the new, redesigned 911 has JUST ENOUGH room ...

Keep the Boxter, get a Cayenne. I'm a Porsche enthusiast and I have almost as much fun driving my Cayenne as I do my 911. And when your wife gives you the boot you'll have more room for your clubs and other belongings.

Buy a used C5 Corvette. Take the saved money and buy yourself new clubs and another plane! They advertised the C5s were built with the intent of two full bags in the boot. Can't say anything about the plane. Guess that depends on what you buy.

I ike the Panamera. Don't know how it does in the golf-bag department but it is a fun car to drive. Waiting for them to come down in price, for the time being my old Targa has to do.

I fish a couple saltwater tournaments every year, mostly on the chesapeake.

The rules are always different. But the best one I know gives every boat ONE pink 3ft barbie rod from wal-mart.

The boat that returns with the heaviest fish - (any legal species) wins
