awesome aerial photos

Why don't mine look like that? Am I supposed to take my D40 off fully automatic?

These are awesome.

I must move into this century. How do I set up my XP so that the screen saver rotates through photos? Right now, the screen saver is turned off.

These and some from NASA are absolutely fantastic.

Wow, those are amazing. What does he use as his shooting platform, a helicopter?

I must be a pilot. I looked at picture 14 and my first thought was "where would I put it if the engine failed?"

>I find my photos are better if I remove the lens cap.

some of mine would have been better with the lens cap left on :-/

I used a couple of tips left here from members of POA and created a flickr group called Nikon Aviator. I'm hoping to use that to learn more about picture taking (in general) and the added considerations used when taking them from the air (such as angle shooting at, sun position, clouds, distance, etc). LOL, I'm the only member of the group but we'll see.
