Took a test flight in a plane I'm interested in buying this evening.
It has a few issues, two of which are a VOR (the type that has the radio in it) doesn't work, and there's an ADF that's inop and should be pulled.
Any idea on a ballpark to fix the VOR and pull the ADF? Would a W&B need to be calculated if the ADF is pulled?
Always looking to drop some weight out of planes. I know the ADF doesn't weigh a ton, but anything helps. All depends on costs, though. Too bad it isn't something I can take out myself.
