Aviation handheld connection question

I fly a 172 with one radio and I have a handheld for a back-up. I've been trying to figure out if there is a simple way to plug into both at the same time so that I can use the handheld to
Monitor a second frequency. I haven't been able to locate a cord that allows it --- kinda the opppsite of the two headphones into one source cord, I need a two
Sources into one headset cord.

Anybody have a source?

I doubt sincerely you are going to be pleased with the result. To explain why would take a very long time, but think about gearing two engines together to give you power from both of them. Difficult without a lot of gimcrackery.
