Airspace surrounding KRYY, McCollum field question:
- sectional shows altitude designators 125/70 for Bravo, but
- tap within the eccentric circle on WingX shows floor of Bravo there to 3500.

Is there a problem w WingX here or has something changed?
Called McCollum tower via land line and they weren't real definitive : "I know it doesn't start at 3500"

Thanks

Wingx is wrong there. I fly that airspace frequently. I've seen that error before.

Looks like top of the RYY delta is 3500, bottom of the ATL bravo is 7000 in that sector.

The way it looks to me is, the top of the Class D over RYY is 3500' and the floor of the Bravo in that shelf is 7000'. So from 3500 to 6999' you are in Class E airspace, not sure if that answers your question or not, it could just be something with WingX.

Yep. McCollum is ~1000msl. The Class D is 2500 agl, hence the 3500 msl class D.

The Bravo is definitely 7000MSL there. That little slice to the west is 6000 though.

WingX missed something there.

Thanks to all - feel better now.

Here you go.
Thanks, the McCollum D is/was not in question.....WingX keeps telling me the surrounding B floor is 3500....flew in today at 4500 and wasn't busted. :)

did they charge you $30 for the "facility fee?" They've gotten a little fee happy since Hawthorne took over.

Right, but it had both airspace' dimensions listed which is what I intended to display for clarification.
