April fools joke on wife

About 10 days ago my wife & I drove 3 hours from home to look at a 182Q. I liked the plane but there were issues & I told her it was about $20,000 over-priced in my opinion. We'd pretty much decided it wasn't the bird for us.

Mid-morning today I texted her from work & said the owner of said airplane had called & I made him an offer $10,000 less than asking price & he accepted.

Her text back shows how well I picked when I married her 7 years ago. She texted back "well okay, I'm a little surprised you bought it but trust & support your decision". Wow.

I let her stew on it for 30 minutes or so & texted again "Are you really alright with this?" when she replied, "Shocked but okay".

I then asked her if she remembered what the date was & she texted back LOL! You got me.

My wife got me today. She never pulls jokes on me but got me today. We were swimming in pool and she said oh my gosh. You've got a big blotch of purple on back of your head. I'm trying to think what I might have got in and rubbing my head to see if whatever would come off. Then she laughed. A lot.
