It's last minute, but I'm going to fly up to KMMI (Mimms County Tennessee) tomorrow to check out the 1st FAI Pan American Glider Championship. Our own Tony Condon is flying his Standard Cirrus as part of the US team, and I want to cheer him on.
I'm leaving Covington KCVC in my Mooney at about 9:30am. If you can blow off the day and would like to go, send me a PM.

Change: Now going Saturday. See post 5.

Dang! With a touch more notice, I would've gone. It would be hard to free my calendar tomorrow at this point.

Would love to get a ride in your M20J sometime though! :)

Can I take a raincheck on that? Unfortunately I've already got plans too.

Is it at KMMI or 92A? Just read an article on it. Flying out of KMMI because of runway issues at 92A. I might stop up on Saturday AM after work and check it out. So much darn pollen in the air right now. Hopefully get some showers Friday and wash it away.

OK, reset. I picked tomorrow because the weather looked good. OTOH I'm flexible, I like to share Mooney and soaring stuff, and now Saturday's weather should be good. So same offer as my original post except I'll be going on Saturday morning. Hope this works for somebody.

What time would you be leaving on saturday?

Probably leave KCVC around 9:30. Would leave KMMI to come back early afternoon.
