Anyone have/apply for their UAS; 333 exemption?

Curious if anyone here has done this yet? What was your experience?
 
no idea what that was, so I sent a bot to ask google ... ;)
 
The company I work for has. VERY, VERY slow process. The FAA is like 3 months backed up on it at least.
 
Assuming (and that's a big assumption) that the new airman certification for "UAS Operator" goes live next month, 333 exemptions will become instantly obsolete.
 
I have one. It was a pretty simple. No need to pay some company or lawyer to do it for you. I just found an approved exemption similar to what I was doing and did a find and replace with my own information. I submitted it last July and got approved in Oct. N number registration was pretty simple too.
 
The company I work for filed last July and got it in October. I'm one of the pilots and we've been using it commercially since February on several projects.
