I can't think of anyone I know who can't be reached as easily as back in the pager days.

But I think you're older than I pictured you now, too. Haha. LOL.

The phone gets its volume changed to mute, sometimes inadvertenly by just picking it up. I set the phone down and dont hear the vibration. That Droid seems to have a mind of it's own on that. At any rate, Im missing calls. I need to be able to lock the volume. I'd also benefit from "notify every x min until cancelled" on my calender appts. My Nokia had that.

At any rate, communication breakdowns occur and the mechanic keeps on workin and the clock keeps on tickin and the bill keeps on growin and Im in the dark wonderin.

I do know one benefit of pagers. I had a coworker & friend who's watch died. He found it relatively easy to use his pager for a watch. It had a time display anyway. When his watch was fixed, he didn't wear it. What he found was he could look at his watch and say he had to go and folks would just keep talking. But when he looked at the pager and said he had to go they'd respect that.

"wife of the friend" says she was told "you CAN go back into the shop if with an escort" there ... so, perhaps crossed wires, mixed messages or something in the original situation...

Do you have to hire an escort off of Backpage or some other site? Do they provide the escort?
I don't ever remember being told I could not go into the shop to see my airplane. Heck, I will look at the other ones in the shop to see how they are equipped etc! That's how I ended up buying my Conquest, I had looked at it a couple times while it was at the shop and when it popped up for sale, I bought it.

You could always get the guys from "Airplane Repo" to sneak you in, they seem to find a way into all kinds of hangars!!
