Any Stratux users out there?

An issue I'm having with my Stratux ADSB-in device is it sees my plane as well as all the others in my area.

Using it with Skydeamon (UK competitor to Foreflight here in the US) on my tablet.

Getting verbal warnings there is a plane 100' behind me at the same altitude. I have to turn off the Stratux at that point.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of a cure?

It has nothing to do with Stratux; a Stratus receiver will do the same thing.

If you do not have ADSB-Out, you’re probably stuck. If you do have ADSB-Out, ForeFlight has an “ownship” option that will blank it for you. Don’t know about Skydeamon, but I would be surprised if it didn’t have something similar.

Go to the Stratux web interface and you can enter your ADS-B out hex code as an ignore.

I was able to find this video that describes my problem.

Stratux outputs a web page on 192.168.10.1 that, among other things, shows all the aircraft it is "seeing" at any one time. The plane it is riding in will show up first. You can copy that hex code into a second web page and it will not see your plane in the future.

Before I installed ADSB out I would get this with my old Stratux unit. Dude right on my six. Seems I couldn't outrun or out maneuver the guy ...

Hit the brakes and he’ll pass right by, then you can get missle-lock.
