I'm equipping ground up overhauled 1957 Yak 18A and am keen to know whether anyone is aware of lower cost technology hitting the market this year. I was looking at the TRIG TT21 trx and TY91 radio, am only considering the 57mm round install. Can anyone suggest alternatives worth considering or new products coming to market soon?

Thank you, good shout. This looks very neat. Easy install, simple and effective with certifications due pre-2020. However, the key consideration for me is that I want to retain a panel as close to the original as possible hence the 57mm round instruments like the TRIG. I would need a relatively dumb instrument display to make effective use of the Levil solution. Like it though!
 
New equipment. Best reason in the world to spend a day or two at KOSH.
 
Well Levil has changed my plans for ADSB. I'll wait for that and save a ton.
