Mrs. P needs a new headset. Top priority is that it be lightweight and comfortable. ANR not necessary; our 172 is pretty quiet. Bluetooth for music would be nice, but an input jack would be fine, too.

Recommendations? Thanks.

I have two sets of these that I really like. They are the best bang-for-the-buck headsets that I have run across. They fit the description of what you are looking for, both feature wise and cost, plus they are also ANR. It you do a google search you can probably find a better price than Aircraft Spruce.

Thanks, Mick. I have some shopping to do!

I can't get under $500 but I am doing like new wireless Lightspeed Tango's for $625. I have been doing some flying with the Tango in various airplanes and they work excellent. It is nice not having a cord. Batteries last around 12 hours on a charge.

I tried the Tango because wireless seemed like such a good idea. The weight of the battery made them really uncomfortable.
