Anyone used any of the Rustoleum "Aircraft Remover" on aluminum?

I don't have a can here to read what it's safe on and I'm planning a color change on the interior of our RV.

Anyone have a suggestion for a paint stripper outside the Rustoleum?

I've used aircraft stripper on a couple of sets of floats. It takes laquer off well but urethanes not so much. When I had my airplane painted I was late to bring my wheel skis to the paint shop. My painter gave me a gallon jug with his stripper in it and told me to strip the skis. He warned me to suit up, glove up, and use eye protection, the reiterated it until I promised I would. That stuff was WAY more effective than "aircraft stripper". It bubbled paint off aluminum in short order. I have no idea what it was but if I was stripping a plane I'd go talk to a pro painter and find out.

Noob question, is it allowable to paint your airplane yourself?

I'd imagine you would need an A&P AI to put all the pieces back on.

Dunno the answer to that for a certified aircraft, this is for an experimental, no A&P needed.
