You need more left aileron, you were right of centerline on touch down

Aileron to keep it in the middle of the runway, rudder to keep it pointing down the runway

Perhaps a little to fast on the vref as can be seen in the float

Don’t touch other folks planes on the ramp

Burger looked decent

When Jeff and I originally came up with the 2025, $100 Hamberger Fly-In Airport Restaurant Adventure plan it was 'New England' Airports. New York is not in New England. However, we have since added the state to our list. Please forgive the New England references in this video as I was having a brain fart that day.

I have been flying since 2001, all in Piper Aircraft (Warrior, Archer, Arrow). I finally soloed in a Cessna C172M, my 1st High Wing Solo Experience and I had to record the experience.

KHFD to KIJD (Connecticut Airports) - 18 Minute flight with an 18 Knot tailwind.

I was so impressed with the handling and ease of the flight controls. I liked the push/pull throttle. It felt comfortable and natural to my power setting inputs. The flaps broke my balls! And the visibility was amazing. A whole new experience on flying.

Facing My Nerves on a 100 NM Solo Cross Country
Description:
After many years of flying, it was time to put my skills to the test and venture away from the nest. I have flown cross country flights in the 50-75 NM range, this past year with my aviation friends, but this flight would be officially my furthest flown solo that i can recall. The flight originates from Hartford, CT and heads North up into Newport NH, Parlin Field (2B3). I have Air Traffic Control with me and the wonderful Piper Archer I am flying is equipped with an autopilot! Listen to me talk about my journey, communicate with ATC and see what this New Hampshire Airport has to offer.

awesome videos. Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the flying videos.
Thanks Mike. I have had so many aviation adventures this year. I can say any flight has ever been boring. So yes very fun! Looking forward to shooting some fall foliage soon.

Looks like a great flight! I miss flying in the northeast
It was definitely one of my favorites. The northeast is scenic and rewarding. Hartford, CT is a nice home base to start from too. Where do you fly now in the Central Midwest?

I Flew a Mooney for 20 Minutes

Based out of Hartford, CT this special episode takes place on a calm, beautiful late spring afternoon in Connecticut. We filmed our flying adventure. Flying a Cirrus SR22 | Like Dating a Supermodel
Description::blueplane:
My first flight in a Cirrus SR22 felt like dating a supermodel, sleek, elegant, and unforgettable. ✈️A friend, Patrick Mullane, the proud owner of a rare Cirrus SR22 “100 Years of Flight” edition, invited me to brunch. He met me, in his Cirrus, at Hartford-Brainard (KHFD) on a smoky summer morning in July. In this clip, I share our preflight briefing and departure from KHFD on Runway 2. From there, we flew to his home base, Minute Man (6B6), touching down on Runway 21. At this welcoming Stow, Massachusetts airport, I met some fellow pilots and enjoyed a farm-to-table breakfast burger from Fourth & Field. Enjoy the highlights from this memorable arrival. Shout out to James N2741C, David, Haily and Don the airport manager!

NY Skyline Route: ATC, Hudson, East River & Central Park
Airspace: Class Bravo
Altitude: 1,500'

These views are absolutely breathtaking over Manhattan, NY. Join Larry and I on an impressive aerial adventure in our Cessna 172 as we fly south along the Hudson River, turn left over the East River then come directly over Central Park. This counterclockwise lap over New York at 1,500' is a packed with three different camera angles. Watch as we dodge the many helicopters and airplanes in this busy airspace. Listen to the cockpit audio as we legally fly this course. If you are thinking about trying this for yourself, maybe this video can provide some insight on how we did it. We were in contact with ATC the entire time and had a transponder code. This flight began from the north over the Tappan Zee Bridge.

One of my favorite places to grab a $100 Breakfast Waffle is Hangar 12 at Mansfield Municipal Airport. Here are two approaches into 1B9.

Exploring a New England Aviation Gem | Mansfield, MA 1B9
Video Description: One Runway, two approaches! In this episode, I fly my Piper Archer into Mansfield Municipal Airport. There are two landings in this video. The first is coming into Runway 14 from the East. Its Summer in August and the weather is beautiful. The second is from the West of the field, in the Fall. We enter a left downwind into Runway 32. It's an overcast day and the foliage is beginning to turn Fall colors. Experience the scenery below from the under-wing camera. I add some voice narration and labels to help with the local landmarks. Explore the Massachusetts Landscape, in the traffic pattern, around Mansfield Municipal Airport (1B9). We then head into Hangar 12 for some breakfast!

My 1st Landing at Bradley International Airport | KBDL
Description:
Runway 24 has reopened, and I landed on 33 & 24! I finally did it; after flying for over 20 years, I landed at Bradly International Airport. In this video listen to me contact Bradley Approach ATC and request the Visual Landing on Runway 33. Bradley is a Class C Airport in Connecticut. After contacting the control tower and getting cleared to land, I also asked for another landing immediately on Runway 24. I was cleared for the option on both Runways! Enjoy the sights and sounds from two camera angles as I perform a touch and go on a calm cold November New England Morning.

Is your plane COLD inside? I noticed the gloves and hoody. Does the heat not work well?

Congratulations! I think you are the first person I've ever seen comment on one of his videos on a forum. As far as I can tell, he posts his videos on several aviation forums but otherwise participates in none of them.

Indeed. Hence, this is my first comment on one of his videos.

request the Visual
As with previous posts/comments from first-year series, hope this tip may be useful …

Requesting a “visual” is not appropriate for flight under Visual Flight Rules. (VFR is always in visual conditions).

- A “visual” approach clearance may be available when operating IFR.

Instead,
For initial call to (TRACON) facility, consider ‘who you’re calling, who you are, position, and intentions’.

“Bradley Approach, Archer 33121, 5 miles southeast Brainard at two thousand six hundred, landing Bradley with xray”

or in this case
“… inbound Bradley with xray for touch and go.”

Well, except you didn't' comment on the video itself. So I will: my first landing at BDL was August 2, 1990. It was part of my night dual cross country when I was a student pilot :D

It was really memorable. At one point ATC said "airport 12 o'clock 12 miles. Report airport in sight." It was a clear night and I could see those fabulous approach and runway lights. "Airport in sight," I replied. "Cleared to land runway 24; contact Tower" was the immediate response.

I watch most of his videos and enjoy them. I don't require him being a prolific contributor to enjoy his videos. I don't fly (yet) so I enjoy flying vicariously through the guys who fly the Warriors, Archers, Cherokees, etc. and film their experiences. He makes a nice video and I enjoy them.

Thanks MikeNY, I appreciate the feedback and solution to improve my radio communication intentions. I'm always looking to improve my ATC comms as I'm using advisories on every flight.
