Airports with on-site restaurants

What data is driving Foreflight’s services listing for airports? Do they have their own reporting system?
Dude, drop the pocket protector and just come meet to good ole boys for a burger here sometime soon. Forget about data, and have a good time. I'm an engineer. Been around enough to know old school is cool school.

Haha. Well someone will have to pick a time/date/place for something near Phoenix I guess.

eaa690.net there is a list. Can't say how accurate it is as I haven't checked it in a couple of years for accuracy. The Elevation Chophouse at RYY is nice, but last I heard the f'ing FBO charges a ramp fee if you go there. You used to be able to park on the ramp and walk directly to the restaurant, but they blocked it off and force you to walk through the FBO.

That doesn’t surprise me. I’d be willing to give it a try, but with the pricey dinner menu, plus a ramp fee, I can’t justify taking out a loan to pay for the trip.

Have you been to the Flying Machine @ LZU? Any PIREPs on it that you don’t mind sharing?

My plane is based at KLZU ;) Our chapter usually has dinner there the second Friday of most months before our business meeting. The food is good, service can be iffy sometimes. Hoke and Joy, the owners, are good people. Hoke is a very good country music singer and has special events there on occasion. The have a website and are on FB. During the winter they are not open some week nights. Come on down some weekend and let me know and we'll have lunch. You can also fly down on any 1st Saturday and attend our pancake breakfast at the chapter hangar, across the field from where the Flying Machine is located.

Sounds great. I knew you were based in the area, but couldn’t recall where. I may take you up on the pancake breakfast offer one weekend. I’ll give you a shout a few days before I plan to head down. Thanks!
