did I break any FARs ?

If some rides with me did they break any FARs?

If they do not ride home with me did they / I brake any FARs?

Can't say about any FAR's, but not 61.113.

Unless your flying is in an ultralight, it's always the FAA's business. But it isn't a 61.113 problem as long as no money or other compensation is involved. However, with these web sites for setting up shared expenses flights, there is definitely money involved.
