I took it upon myself to contact AirNav regarding thier delay in posting comments and I heard back to them within less than 24 hours. following is the series of email exchanges I though you might be interested in:
My email to AirNav Wed 6/8/05:
" I belong to a large pilot’s web board that often refers member’s questions and comments regarding specific airports and FBOs to AirNav. We have noticed that comments posted by many pilots are not making it on to the web board or are taking an extraordinarily long time to be posted. We think AirNav is a great site and visit it quite often. However AirNav’s usefulness is diminished if comments are not posted in a timely manner. Can you advise when and if this problem will be corrected?"
AirNav's response of 6/9/05:
"Adam,
We are recovering from a large backlog of comments to be posted, and expect to be caught up again by 6/13. Sorry for the delay.
What is this large pilot's web board you belong to?"

Thanks for responding to my e-mail so quickly. The name of the Web Board is Pilots of America (POA) WWW.PilotsofAmerica.com . I believe most of the members there were members of the AOPA web board before they took it down for construction. By far, the majority of us are GA pilots flying single engine piston or light twins; although I think we do have the occasional biz jet driver. We are unanimous in our admiration of AirNav. You have such a useful site. I don’t think I ever plan a trip without using it and find it an invaluable flight planning tool. You might tell your advertisers that I and most pilots I know will choose a particular FBO or even between two airports near our destination (if there is more than one) based upon advertisements, fuel price postings and comments on AirNav. Glad you will be up to speed soon. Keep up the great work! I’ll let the folks at POA know the good news."
