The link to the SkyVector site seems to be missing from the AirNav page showing the airport information. One can click on the sectional name in the left column, and that brings up Chart-O-Matic, which seems to want to sell you the chart but not show it.

I'm probably missing something.

Anyway, I liked the SkyVector link so...

I noticed that today...Skyvector is now doing much more with the new version...perphaps there is a reason buried in there? Send the Airnav guy a PM...he posts here...

Skyvector is having issues...I am sure that will get it worked out...

If Airnav droped them, it appears that it is of Airnav's choosing...

I also like using runwayfinder.com. It used to be just VFR sectionals, but they've since added IFR sectionals, etc. I like it better for long trips because it strings the charts together, rather than making you switch charts like SkyVector.

IFR sectionals? :dunno: ;) :D

I kinda like Skyvector because I'll know which charts I need to buy. ;)

It sure is handy to pull up an airport on airnav, then check skyvector. Too bad if that relationship is over.:frown3:

D'OH! Too much eggnog!

I buy the AirChart systems IFR Atlas for the whole country. For the number of charts I would end up using on a regular basis (and the fact that I need to be ready for trips to areas I might not have charts for), it makes sense. I was doing their updates for the approach plates, but there are too many changes for that to be practical to keep up with. The AnywhereMap tablet PC I have with PocketPlates keeps all the approach plates updated automatically. I keep the paper plates in the plane as backup. Much more convenient.

No such thing. :D

Yeah, I keep forgetting that I am one of a very lucky few whose FBO is not only a chart dealer but stocks Sectionals, WAC's, TAC's, Low and High enroutes, Area charts, and approach plates for the entire country. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen another FBO that's as well-stocked as ours. The only chart I couldn't find there was the Grand Canyon VFR chart!

Sadly, under the new rules, they even had to merge their three locations together as one. I don't know how a regular single-location FBO can keep up. :frown2:
