I bought this Airmap 600c shortly before I bought my IFR capable 172. I only used it a few times and it has been sitting in a drawer since then. I also have the cigarette lighter adapter, the antennae and the Operating manual.

Would this have any value to anyone?
 
Excellent door stop at this point in time. But the nicest thing I liked about the 600c was that it also had a marine database in it for all the marine navaids.

What a shame they've abandoned these. I flew all over the country on an AirMap 500 and loved it. Seems like they abandoned aviation in 2011 and no longer support it, so no map updates. Too bad.
 
Dang. If it's non-updateable I'll give 25$ for it. I know it's a lowball offer...

There's one on ebay going for 80$ (with a bid). You probably could get 50$ if you did a buy it now auction.
 
I still use my 2000C and believe it or not it STILL works fine for back-up nav.

I carry sectionals to cross check but in 3 years the lakes, rivers and towns haven't moved that much so the 600 is a fine (if not current) GPS.

For VFR flying they're great. Even with an ipad and all that jazz, I still use the 600C in the cubs when I fly them - small, easy to read, and airports don't move often and airspace doesnt really either.

I wouldnt use it to vector around Chicago's bravo, but for anything else they're solid devices with great battery life and durability, esp for small or open cockpits.
