The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
In the AOPA purchase agreement boilerplate, there was the following bullet point:

"Aircraft shall be equipped as follows: _________________________________"

How detailed should this be? I can see putting the items that are upgrades/updates (avionics for example) or any portable items (like a x96 or headset). But what else?
 
Be as detailed as you can. List everything removable so there's no question what was in there when you receive the airplane and something you expected is no longer there.
 
Most people start with the spec sheet used in the ad.
 
Usually attach the spec sheet initialed by the seller . Also any adendums of equipment the owner intends to take with him.assume nothing.
