The article was updated to include that the bridge was damaged by rescue vehicles and not hit by the plane.

I was supposed to fly into Burlington early Friday morning in a 414 to pick up some pax. The fog was really thick in the morning, so couldn't get get and had to go to Kenosha instead(barely got in there). By the time we came back late Friday evening, it had cleared out and the weather was clear in Kenosha, as well as Burlington, so I doubt weather was an issue.

Sadly, the Pilot has passed away. I had a really nice conversation with said Pilot at the fuel pump just hours before this fatal flight. RIP Dave. I pray for your family.
