Maybe it's the angle of the first photograph, but it sure looks like it sits with plenty of prop clearance!
Does that plane of yours have 185 gear legs by any chance?

A 180 just looks ... right. It's not function over form; rather, function creates ideal form.

Other Skywagon guru's can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the later model 180's (3 side windows) all have 185 gear.

Forget the numbers, but if you measure the thickness of the gear legs, you can find out if you've got 180 or 185 gear. The 185's is a little thicker.

0.650" for early 180's and 0.700" for later 180's/185's. 98% sure I have the thicker gear. It is (just about) the same airframe as a 185 afterall.
