Final Approach
A friend of mine had to replace the props on his Seneca, they were two blades and he was debating on the 3 blade vs 2 blade props. I vote 3 blade, because they look cool and 99% of the time the props aren’t moving!!

I had considered strakes when I was operating the 414. APM offered a nominal discount but not enough to make it worthwhile so I have no first-hand experience. But I did spend a lot of effort tracking the thoughts of those who installed them. It always seemed that there were some people who had minor improvements but most people didn't notice much of anything. I forget which series seemed to benefit the most on average, I think it was 340s but I could be remembering wrong now.
But, as you said, they look cool - and that's worth something!

@Lowflynjack , I wonder if it's your photos that have caused a definite uptick in my 340 business this year!
Seriously, it seems like everyone I know is buying, or interested in the 340 in the last month or so.
Jack, I really need to stay away from your threads sometimes...
Ted: You'll probably remember when I first found this forum, our early conversations about how a 340 was the logical step up from my Aztec.
So Jack posts some pictures, I start asking questions, and next thing you know I'm perusing Cessna 340 aviation porn on Controller, and reading archived articles.
Save me before it's too late!
