If you follow aviation photography, you've heard of Glenn Watson of MachPointOneAviation. He's an incredible photographer and one of the few that I will say really inspired me to get into the field. He lives near me and recently asked me if I was interested in trading photo shoots. Neither of us ever get photos of ourselves, and we don't know what it's like to be on the dangerous end of the camera! I can say we both came away with a new respect for what we put you through during a shoot. Here are the pics I took of him.

Also, you'll notice his daughter Maya in the right seat taking photos most of the time. Normally we frown on this, but when a Watson points a camera at you, you just want to see the results! I'll post a couple of shots later from the 8-year-old Maya... you'll be impressed!

Nice pics. Always thought the A-36 was a sharp looking plane. Flew with my Uncle that owned on years ago, nice flying plane.

Very nice Pics. The Bonanza is sure a great looking aircraft!

As promised, here are a few photos from the up and coming, 8-year-old photographer, Maya!

A shot of me taking a shot of them!

It looks like he has a lot of left rudder in some of those pics, or is that an illusion?

Never noticed that until now that you point it out, but I think it’s just an illusion. The picture is taken at an angle where the sunlight is reflecting off of it.

It’s not an illusion, it’s clearly deflected. If you look at the top of the tail, you can see the leading edge out to the right.

My guess is the he was working the rudder to get the best angle for the shot.
That is correct. We were using right rudder, he was using left rudder. Gives us a close to head-on shot.

loving the hula gal....:D
