Air India pilot locked out of cockpit

Except for maybe having the tools and stuff to fix the door in Bhopal, I wonder why they diverted?
 
Between this and the crew that took a nap and had the FA fly the plane, I am not sure I ever wish to fly on that airline. Actually, I am quite certain that I NEVER wish to fly on that airline.
 
In addition to this, crew napping, they also had an incident where they used newspaper to cover cockpit windows. Apparently they didn't like the sun.
 
I know people that have flown on that airline. Their maintenance program is.... scary.

I have flown on that airline (no other reasonable alternative). Coordinated turns were optional on the visual approach at our destination. Weird to feel a skidded turn on an airliner.
 
Folks on KOMO radio this morning couldn't help but mention how this looked like something out of Airplane. :D
