um... donno what you said thar... is there a way to check that SIL code thing you mention? not sure if its means anything, but FlightAware picks up my ADSB

You can get a report from the FAA that will tell you more than you want to know about your ADS-B out signal.

I apologize if it seems that I am sparring with you, but why would anyone offer a retroactive rebate on ANYTHING? Rebates are used to promote things. If you already bought it, it doesn’t need promoting. I wrote a fat check in May for my 345 and I am retired too. Unfortunately that’s how it goes. You win some and you lose some.

No need to apologize. I understand what you are saying. I have free time, so I felt like I should ask the FAA, since they told us there was not going to be any further rebates. In the total scheme of flying $500 is not much, especially since you need to declare that on your taxes since you will get a 1099. In the end it was worth about $350. But, I like to ping on the FAA since I am willing to bet, they will waiver the DoD and airlines who both will ?not meet the deadline. Guaranteed they won’t ground those boys!
