The thing's got a 260 foot wingspan, and it must be next to impossible for the pilots to figure out from the cockpit where the plane starts and stops. It also must be very difficult for the pilots of planes around it to judge how the behemoth moves, pivots, etc.
Fortunately it was just a scrape, and no one was taking off/ landing.
