A twofer ! Guess flying machine and overhead location ? Thread

Ohhh man. I've seen a plane with this panel config, but I can't remember what it is!

Whatever it is, it's a single with a C/S prop, some interesting trim indicators, and is flying 120 KIAS at 7500 feet at 21"/2300. It also appears not to have a yoke at all, so likely a stick-controlled aircraft. The audio panel at the top center reminds me of a really old Bonanza but it doesn't have the piano keys (or the yoke).

It's definitely Davis-Monthan. That's taxiways A4 and A5 that we see between the runway and the main parallel taxiway.

they look like fun planes to fly but i think i have only seen one in person. O-320?

Close enough Good job! Socata Rallye 894A
Imported into the USA under the Waco brand model Minerva.

Wow! Never would have gotten that, I've never heard of it before. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SOCATA_Rallye_family

There are 30 registered in the US as Socata Rallye MS894As, 33 other Rallye models registered as Socatas, but I don't see any registered as Waco Minervas. https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/AcftRef_Results.aspx?Mfrtxt=SOCATA&Modeltxt=&PageNo=1

When was this taken? If I was working, I'm directly under the trailing edge of that wing.
