Good grief!! If that guy tried something like in America, someone would have seen him coming and popped open a car door just for grins and giggles!
 
This video has gone utterly viral, and yes the guy is nuts. There's another guy called Ghostrider who makes and sells videos of insane riding, one shows him playing with a police car that eventually spins out, I posted a snippet below. Breathtaking stupidity, laying their lives on the line for nearly nothing. To underlie how dumb it is, they have racing tacks in Europe just like here. They could do all that speed sans obstacles, and legally.

 
At those speeds all the kit in the world won't save you. Still, I bet there are superbike posses in every big city in the country, if not the world.

Or swerved into the lane (in order to avoid debris in the road of course)

oh my God. Balls of steel.

why are the oncoming cars (when he is straddling the line) not veering to get away from him, or even hugging the line farther away from him?

ps I am not even sure I'd walk a shopping cart between those cars, some seemed so close together.
