Saw this when it was on the Sundance Channel, great work by the researchers to track down the guy who was featured in the landing. I had the opportunity to sit next to a guy, (British citizen), who flew Spits in WWII while on a flight to Edinburgh a few years back. I noticed a little DFC rosette on his lapel and asked him about it and we jawed all the way across the Atlantic. It is hard to imagine what it took to strap into an aircraft day after day and go fight over your homeland in that struggle.
