6Y9 2016 Opening??

I was up with the snowmobiles a few weeks ago. Besides a few regulars we met with some sledders from SD. We showed them some great off-trail riding behind Herman.

One of the highlights was stopping in at 'The Station' after some Baraga Plains riding.

Over News Years we flew into KSAW, the weather was better than up OGM way.

When about will 6Y9 start hopping?

6Y9 will open May 15th as usual( windsock is up now, cones out on the May 15th , although it never seems to be completely dried out until June 1st.
It snowed 9 in. last week there, hopefully that will be out of its system soon
I'll be up there just before the 15th so will post conditions,I also hope to roll it at that time.

6Y9 is now ready for the May 15th opener for 2016.
The cones have been placed and the runway rolled.
