Maybe back in the day when you could walk in, but now one must have an appointment audit might be after the rush in March
I wouldn't count on that method.

Hundreds upon hundreds of IA's depend on that method. What's so difficult about making an appointment? Plus, the FSDO's do extra manning during March to account for the high number of walk ins to renew IA's. Again, I fail to see any problem here.

I never said there was anything wrong with going to FSDO to renew. But my FSDO is a 3 hour drive, and the mail box is across the street.
