64 Days aloft in a 172

:yikes:Really. Almost 65 DAYS aloft, continuously, without landing in a C172. Almost 47 days in an Aeronca Sedan. Great stories of Barnstormer Hijinks.

Great stuff. They had to quit in the Cessna when the engine had so many hours on it that it could no longer climb away from the refueling.

edit: not low compression necessarily but carbon fouling. Surprised they did not change the plugs in-flight :D

The logistics are mind-boggling... fuel, oil changes, food, weather...
