When I first joined this forum, there was a huge stampede of members requesting to be my friend on my user I.D. page, Scott was the very first. I never have figured out what that friend thing is all about anyway.
I miss Scott, and also Harry, Scott for his humor and Harry for his brilliance.
I think forums are a lot like magazines if you subscribe to them, after a while they become repetitive. The same subjects hashed and re-hashed, the same writers and contributors, the same pictures, you eventually lose interest.
I guess it was ten or so years ago I was in a convenience store and on an impulse, bought a Playboy, mostly for the pictures and cartoons. When I was in my twenties, my roommates and I eagerly waited for the next issue, we almost memorized each one as we received them. As the years went by, the magazines became repetitive in its format and articles, even the pictures seemed the same, so I lost interest.
Anyway, when I opened up that magazine, the first time in probably 25 years, I would have sworn I had already seen it, nothing, not one thing, had changed. I gave it to my son, who seemed appreciative. I haven't bought one, or even picked one up since.
I have a hunch Scott and Harry wandered off for the same reasons. It's kind of sad, they did seem to keep things going.
