5 airports in sight ...

From where I sit in the Hyatt I have 5 airports in sight, each towered. Granted, 3 of them are carriers, and one of those is decommissioned. It raises an interesting question. From what location can one see the most towered airports well enough that you can actually identify the tower?
 
Well, I'd vote for the top of Mt Baldy (Big Bear CA) on a day when the Santanas are blowing. You could count a lot of airports from there.
 
I think I know exactly where you are. I spent the night at the Holiday Inn (Express?) just down the pier. I took a bunch of night pictures of CVN-70 and CV-41 by putting my camera on the table on the deck. Way cool. I got to watch a few LCACs haul ass around the harbor, too.

Depends on your eyesight I guess. I figure I could see half a dozen with the naked eye (my distance vision is still 20/12) and considerably more with binoculars. It's amazing how clear the air is there when the Santanas are blowing.

Correction, the third carrier I saw was CVN 70, the USS Carl Vinson, back from burying Bin Laden.
