269A low TTSN Blades not original or listed in logs does come with set of 3 blades 1145 two of the blades have tags and times and dates usable 500hr left third blade no information. Used 269 blades any chance of finding another 1145 and if so how much per hour left is it worth.

Are these ex-military blades?

Also, what category are the 2 blades with records?

The blade tags are from a repair station and 20 plus years old no other information on the blades only TTIS in the tags. Not sure how you would tell if their ex-military blades. Seems like a lot of the older 269 have real poor tracking other than a yellow tag stuck in the logs. I have no idea what happened to the original blades as the logs do not show they were ever removed.

If the tags only show TTIS, and no tracking info, they are junk. There should be information on the aircraft they flew on, installation date, removal date, etc.

Likely they were military surplus.

3 blades 1145
Just to verify we're talking 269A1145 blades? The big issue before blade TT is AD history. There were several ADs if I recall and a number of blades were changed but never properly dealt with. But with no history records (component cards, etc) the blades and any other component listed in the Airworthiness Limitations section are not usable.

Lots of TH-55’s where converted to 269A’s. And there were several that were hobbled together with questionable part history.

Proceed with extreme caution.

FYI: normally a helicopter will have conventional logbooks for the airframe/engine like an airplane but there will be a separate binder with individual record cards for each life tracked part, i.e., all the parts listed in Note 3 of the TCDS linked above. There should also be some sort of status sheet that shows the current status of those tracked parts and O/Hs to meet the requirements of 91.417. I've seen the records done several different ways but it sounds like you're missing some records outside the logbooks/yellow tags.
