Bro do you even lift
Not all that exciting to some but I finally got my first 1.4 out of 10 req'd for complex (for insurance, they say). I still get 'nervous' getting into a new plane where I'm not 100% confident in but I got over that real quick. Starting procedures were a lil different along with the obvious new tasks but after the third lap around the pattern it was pretty straight forward. Stalls were pretty uneventful and I was off the centerline a few times but after the lesson the CFI says "ok, pick some places to go cause now it's just building time" lol. Which kinda sux on the wallet but it's aight cause I'm flyin WHOOP!

Run through the Systems in the POH/PIM. It's still my favorite aircraft at this point in time. If anything, it's the one I feel most comfortable in.

I'd think he would also want you to preform a emergency gear extension (easy), maybe fool you on your gear lights by turning the panel/NAV light on during day time, cover climbs to cruise and long decents, emergency decents, power off landings, precision landing work, go arounds, falling leaf stalls, LOP/ROP, turbo if equipped ops, etc.

I'd wager you could easily burn 10hrs really learning the machine, not just flying from place to place to burn time :dunno:

Oh boy, more speed 4 you! Have fun! I have not flown any retractable gear stuff yet, but will need it for my CPL if I ever get around to it. The other stuff is pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Yep he turned the panel lights on, we did lazy eights and a bunch other stuff I left off here. It was non-stop, one thing after another which I was fine with. Looking forward to whatever else he throws at me. On our way to the beach or Asheville etc...
